1. Accounts & Data Sync
To access cloud syncing, cross-device backup, and detailed progress statistics, you must create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials. If you choose to use the app in "Guest Mode" (without signing in), all your chanting data is stored solely on your local device (using Hive and Isar local databases). You acknowledge that Jaapkaro is not responsible for data loss due to app uninstallation, device clearance, or local cache issues.
2. Personal Integrity & Fair Play
Jaapkaro is a spiritual tool designed for genuine personal Naam Jap tracking. You agree to use the application in a manner consistent with its purpose. You agree not to:
- Use automated bots, scripts, autoclickers, or emulators to artificially inflate your chanting counts or statistics.
- Attempt to exploit, manipulate, spam, or disrupt our Firebase databases and backend services.
Violation of these fair play and database rules will result in an immediate reset of your statistics, account suspension, or permanent account termination without notice.
3. Advertising
To support the application and keep the services free, we display Google AdMob advertisements (such as native templates and banner ads) in selected screens of the app. These ads require an active internet connection to load. We attempt to serve these ads non-intrusively to preserve your focus and devotion.
4. User Content
If you upload a profile picture (which is authorized via Vercel and hosted on Cloudinary) or set a display name, you agree that it will not contain explicit, offensive, or copyrighted material. We reserve the right to remove inappropriate user-generated content and terminate accounts that violate this rule.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Jaapkaro application is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or that your chanting statistics will never be lost due to server anomalies, database corruptions, or network connectivity issues.
6. Changes to Terms
We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
